#5 Clinging to Life: Our fears!

The fifth Klesha  is 'Abhinivesha' or clinging to life. We cling because we fear loss. The actual translation of 'abhinivesha' is moving towards the entrance….
Lady Ruth was talking about the Ganges, or any river, and how its flow goes towards the sea. Its a big body of water that moves towards the entrance into a bigger body of water. It unites back with its source.

Here are 2 things that might soften the feeling of fear, and clinging to life:
-How you prioritize your day:
take care of things that are important for you, complete them so you don't owe people or yourself anything. You feel free and accomplished. You feel settled.

-Not having said something, to yourself or someone else:
don't wait to say thank you or I love you…let people know you appreciate them. Be gentle to yourself and others! Express your love.

"The fear of death or a clinging to life dilutes your focus and interferes with your ability to experience the spiritual freedom that is the goal of yoga."
